Randstad is to launch a multi-employer trust to comply with its auto-enrolment duties.
The recruitment firm will reach its staging date on 1 March 2013, when its 20,000 eligible agency workers will be auto-enrolled.
The scheme will be provided by Now: Pensions.
Ian Naylor, legal director at Randstad, said: “Our decision to appoint Now: Pensions came as a result of wanting a workplace pension scheme that is structured, simple and easy for us to implement.”
Morten Nilsson, chief executive officer at Now: Pensions, added: “Randstad is a prime example of an organisation being well prepared for the future; looking at [its] staging dates and choosing the provider that best suits [its] needs to ensure [its] workforce has access to a pension scheme that adds value without being overly complicated.”
