Employee Benefits Wired: Maximising pensions potential is now available to watch on demand.

The live panel debate took place on Tuesday 29 November 2016 in association with Close Brothers Asset Management.

The panel included Debbie Lovewell-Tuck, editor of Employee Benefits; Jeanette Makings, head of financial education services at Close Brothers Asset Management; Nigel Peaple, deputy director, defined contribution (DC), lifetime savings and research at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA); Chris Curry, director at the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI); Jacqui Reid, associate director at Sackers.

The expert panel discussed key areas impacting workplace pensions, including pensions auto-re-enrolment, changes to the lifetime allowance, and the lifetime individual savings account (Lisa). Financial education was also a prominent subject for debate, with the panelists highlighting how financial education can affect employee’s retirement savings and plans. Future pensions issues or challenges that could arise in 2017 were also discussed.
