Unless you have been closed off from the media for the entire weekend, you will now be aware that a national referendum on the UK’s continued membership of the European Union is scheduled for the 23 June 2016. Most people would agree that this date has the potential to be a pivotal one in the modern history of the nation.
We will remain neutral on this issue. That said, we will of course be commenting on any direct implications for the world of employee benefits as and when it is right to do so.
In the meantime some may find this article (written last month) of interest, for regardless of our status within – or outside of – the European Union, productivity and engagement remains a real problem for UK business, and employee benefits may be a key component to tackling this issue.
