Norwich Union has launched an interactive pension website with a virtual online guide. The guide, similar to a television presenter, takes employees on a virtual online tour through their own pension. Along the way, 'she' explains how retirement savings work, and illustrates the impact of decisions such as increasing the amount an employee saves into their pension.
Paul Goodwin, Norwich Union's head of pensions, said the site would help staff understand the true value of the benefit. It is available to new clients this month and will be rolled out to 8,000 existing corporate clients from June.
