Since landscaping firm Marshalls launched a voluntary benefits scheme in April, the majority of its 2,400 employees have taken advantage of the offering.
The scheme harmonised benefits such as cycle-to-work, childcare vouchers and discounts under one banner. The offerings are divided between four core areas: health, leisure, motoring and retail.
Staff can access the scheme via a Marshalls-branded online portal, provided by Team Rewards.
Samantha Allan, human resources co-ordinator at Marshalls, said: "We had been looking for a while at how we could build on the success of the cycle-to-work scheme which really seemed to grab people’s interest.
"There was a lot of interest in the HR community in the growth of employee benefits and having met with several providers, we felt Team Rewards had some of the most interesting and creative ideas we had seen.
"We also tried to make sure that we got the quality of the literature and the website just right to give people confidence in what was on offer. We were keen to help people’s spending power stretch that little bit further – that is never a bad thing and particularly so because of the effect of the recession."
