This week Employee Benefits published a major piece of research into what employers have done with their auto-enrolment strategies to date.
The Employee Benefits/Capita Pensions Research 2013 drew responses from 370 employers, 31% of which have gone through auto-enrolment.
At a point in time when we are beginning to see pension suppliers starting to ramp up fees to implement auto-enrolment (as size of employers shrinks, but volume increases), this research gives an indication of what the big employers have been doing.
Will the smaller employers also start to reduce average employer contributions to 1% (one early trend we spotted in this research), and will most use the postponement option past their staging date.
We have the full report available for free on our website (we simply asked you to be a registered user of www.employeebenefits.co.uk) – enjoy, there are some useful gems in there.
