Bluefin is to launch an off-the-shelf flexible benefits product aimed at small and medium businesses.
The Blueprint product, which is designed for employers with 300 or less employees, will cost less than a bespoke flexible benefits scheme due to its pre-packaged nature.
It works on a pre-built website and includes a predetermined list of up to ten benefits that an employer can select from specific providers sourced by Bluefin. The cost of the product also includes generic communications, such as posters, emails and text messaging.
Blueprint runs on Bluefin’s Orbit system, which enables the company to create a site in less than a day, reducing both the cost and time it takes to implement a flex system.
Blueprint will be formally launched at Employee Benefits Live 2010 on 28th and 29th September.
Elliott Webster, head of flexible benefits at Bluefin, said: “We know from our client bank that [smaller employerss] want to have flexible benefits, they understand all the reasons why, but getting the budget is difficult for that size of client. We have taken away all that worry in this off-the-shelf product.
“As well as getting flex and all the advantages - attraction, motivation and recruitment of employees - the cost is significantly less."
