Insurance underwriter BGL Group has added to its online employee discount scheme, Perkz.
The scheme, which has been running for a number of years, also offers a tranche of discounts on shopping categories such as food, fashion, technology and wellbeing.
In December, BGL Group has also arranged for 13 local and national retailers to visit its offices to help its 1,500 staff with their Christmas shopping.
The initiative is part of the group’s ‘My Benefits!’ reward programme, which covers home and finances, leisure, locality and wellbeing.
Gail Cingolani, reward and benefits manager at the BGL Group, said: “No one can escape the pinch this year and our Perkz scheme has been designed to help make life a little easier for all of our employees.
“We already have a good relationship with many local organisations resulting in discounts at various gyms, restaurants and shops, so our enhanced Perkz offering adds to this.”
