Women's charity YWCA has introduced a number of salary sacrifice benefits following consultation with employees.
The voluntary sector organisation brought in childcare vouchers, a home computing scheme and a season ticket loan as well as free life assurance. Other changes to its benefits package include an employee assistance programme and changes to its pension scheme to make it more flexible for staff that could not afford large contributions.
HR director Jocelyn Morris said that the charity also planned to introduce more options over the next 12 months once it had negotiated with its trades union.
