One-in-10 UK employees would take a pay cut to keep their job, according to research by Ceridian. The survey of
1,000 workers showed that more than a quarter would be prepared to have their hours (28%) and pension
contributions (27%) cut in order to save their job, while almost half (47%) would forgo their private healthcare.
The Trapped in a Downturn report also found that 44% would accept an increase in their workload and one-in three would voluntarily put in extra hours to keep their job.
