Woolworths trustee appoints Capita Hartshead for PPF transition

The trustee of the Woolworths Group pension scheme has appointed Capita Hartshead to guide the scheme through the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) assessment.

This process will be carried out by the firm’s specialist discontinuance service team, which is currently guiding roughly 100 pension schemes through the winding-up process.

Kenneth Donaldson, Capita Hartshead’s director of actuarial services, said: “We are proud and pleased to be working on such a high-profile scheme.
