Most small and medium-sized employers (92%) believe corporate social responsibility (CSR) has a fundamental role to play in how a company is run. Yet there is some debate over who should be responsible for managing a CSR strategy. More than a quarter (27%) believe that this should be down to either the HR director or HR manager, while a further 20% said that an organisation's managing director should take responsibility for its CSR strategy, according to Sponsorship of CSR in the workplace by Truestone Employee Benefits.
