Waltham Forest pension fund appoints Capita Hartshead

The London Borough of Waltham Forest Pension Fund has appointed Capita Hartshead as its administrator.†

The pension fund, part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), has around 16,500 members and over £330m in assets. The contract is for four years, with the option of a two-year extension.

Speaking on behalf of the pension fund, Tracey Jansen, HR business partner at Waltham Forest Council, said: “During the selection process Capita Hartshead consistently demonstrated that they have the knowledge, the systems and the procedures necessary to provide effective, efficient administration. We were particularly impressed by the quality of their administration staff and their LGPS consultancy services."
