Dennis Publishing has launched an online voluntary benefits plan along with the option to make pension contributions through salary sacrifice, with a view to launching flexible benefits in the next 12 months.
The voluntary benefits scheme, provided by Motivano, offers employees discounts on products and services ranging from holidays and AA breakdown cover to money off at high-street retailers. It is being administered online and staff are given a unique log in and password to access the deals.
The publisher's existing benefits have been incorporated into the site so staff can source information on perks in one place.
Isabel Forbes, senior HR advisor at Dennis Publishing, said: "We have launched a whole new online benefits package that will combine our voluntary benefits scheme as well as our core benefits.
"This is a first step to flex and hopefully, within a year, we will have a full flex scheme in place; we are definitely looking at it."
Employees have also been given the opportunity to sacrifice part of their monthly salary tax efficiently into the company stakeholder pension scheme.
Existing core benefits include season ticket loans, a bikes-for-work scheme and sabbaticals.
