United Biscuits has appointed Andrew Newall as its new group HR director.
Newall joins the European manufacturer of biscuits and snacks from Beam Global Spirits & Wine, a division of Fortune Brands where he most recently worked as vice president of human resources international.
Prior to that, Newall was at Allied Domecq for 10 years, latterly as European HR director, and has previously worked for Laura Ashley and British Steel.
Jeff van der Eems, chief operating officer at United Biscuits, said: "I am delighted that Andrew has joined UB and thrilled to have someone of his proven experience lead our HR function."
