A northern NHS trust has been forced to seek a new home computing provider after claiming it was abandoned by a previous supplier on the eve of its scheme launch.
A spokeswoman at the 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust said Booost ran a series of staff roadshows in July 2005, but the Trust did not hear from Booost thereafter.
A trust insider said: "We're in the process of securing a new supplier."
In December, Booost was acquired by Computers For Staff, which continues to operate an HCI scheme under the Booost name. A company spokesman said that the roadshows had taken place prior to its involvement with Booost.
