Travis Perkins Group has added retail vouchers and a savings club to its range of perks with the aim of boosting interest in its benefits package.
Employees can get up to 9% in discounts on the retail vouchers they purchase, and for every £9.50 staff pay into the savings club the company contributes an extra 50 pence.
The two new benefits are to be added to the organisation’s Building your Benefits scheme and are to be paid for via net pay deductions. Other benefits in the scheme include childcare vouchers, give as you earn and cycle to work.
Claire Williams, group reward manager at the Travis Perkins Group, said: “With the new benefits, we look forward to increasing the take up [of perks].”
Staff are required to sign up for the retail voucher scheme for a minimum period of 12 months and can dip into the savings club twice a year.
They receive booklets explaining the all benefits on offer to help them make their decisions on which take.
The group, which employs 16,000 staff in companies such as Travis Perkins and Wickes, also offers employees a voluntary benefits scheme, known as Everyone Benefits, whereby they receive a range of discount vouchers which can be used as and when they choose.
