Total UK has launched total reward statements and revamped its voluntary benefits scheme for its 1,100 staff members.
After the scheme went live at the beginning of the month, employees at the refining and marketing subsidiary of global energy group Total could access total reward statements and a selection of voluntary benefits, both provided by Benefex, using an online benefits portal.
Initially employees were provided with paper total reward statements, detailing all elements of their benefits package, including pensions, personal accident insurance, childcare vouchers, season ticket loans and eye care vouchers. Staff will have access to a real-time online statement throughout the year.†
The voluntary benefits scheme provides staff access to discounts and cashback from 1,500 different retailers, including Sainsbury's, Argos and John Lewis.
Nicola Russell at Total UK commented: “At Total UK we are proud of the range and scale of the benefits available to our employees and as such, we have introduced total reward Statements to communicate the value of all these benefits in a personal way. We also wanted to help employees make significant monthly and annual savings and felt the introduction of a voluntary benefits scheme was a great way to do this."
The scheme was communicated to staff with letters, posters, two-page desk drops, flyers and articles on the company intranet.
