Five organisations have been awarded the Pension Quality Mark (PQM) since the start of 2012.

The firms are Cambridge Silicon Group, independent bank C. Hoare and Co, Toshiba, manufacturer Urenco and Verizon.

Awarded by the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), the PQM recognises defined contribution (DC) pension schemes with minimum employee contributions of 15% and minimum employer contributions of 10%.

Additional criteria include: good quality governance, low charges, and clear and ongoing communication with scheme members.

Over 100 organisations have been awarded the PQM, including Capital One, Centrica, L’Oreal, Nationwide, Roche and Vodafone.
