Tindle Newspapers to pay bonus

Tindle Newspapers’ full-time staff will share a £250,000 bonus pool.

Employees at the regional publisher will be given a lump sum of between £125 and £400, depending on the profits of the individual Tindle centre they work in. Staff at seven centres will definitely receive the maximum bonus of £400.

Ray Tindle, chairman at Tindle Newspapers, said: “We believe that most of our local community papers around the country, though substantially affected by the recession, are performing better than the average, and are providing sufficient profits to keep others going.”
