Thomas Cook is revamping its flexible benefits communication strategy in a bid to educate employees about the available perks and thus boost take up.
This month, the travel firm will nominate one manager from each region in the UK to act as a port of call for any employee who wants to learn more about the flex scheme ahead of next month's enrolment period.
Diane Humphreys, head of HR, pay, benefits and management information, explained: "We will have one member of staff as a point of reference, so if there are any queries or [employees] want more information on flex, they have a colleague close by that they can refer questions to."
Thomas Cook will also send out information booklets on the scheme to employees' homes to encourage staff to spend more time looking at the benefits on offer, and to give them the chance to make decisions with their families about which to take up.
By improving its communications strategy, the firm hopes to increase take-up to 20% from its current 12%-15%.
