Since The Savoy launched a voluntary benefits plan for its staff at the end of 2010, the majority of the hotel’s 540 employees have signed up.

The MySavoy scheme, provided by Asperity Employee Benefits, consists of childcare vouchers, a bikes-for-work scheme and employee discounts.

The hotel’s workforce is predominantly offline, so the scheme was communicated using a printed brochure and posters.

The brochure included details on the organisation’s whole benefits package and a snapshot of the shopping discounts available to staff through the site. The poster campaign included a registration incentive to win an Apple iPad.

Louise Arnold, HR manager at The Savoy, said: “With the re-launch of The Savoy last year, it was really important we matched the incredibly high standard of the hotel in our employee benefits package.

“Our talent is integral to our business and a top quality benefits programme is critical to attracting the best people to work for us. We are thrilled to have achieved such high engagement already and feel this success has a very positive impact on our employees’ job satisfaction levels.”
