The Pensions Trust has launched an online tool that enables employers to access their auto-enrolment staging date.

The tool generates a personalised action planner which highlights the key steps an organisation needs to take towards this date and a breakdown of what it needs to put in place before its staging date is reached.

It also includes is a glossary of terms designed to help the user familiarise themselves with the elements of auto-enrolment.

Logan Anderson, head of customer relations at The Pensions Trust, said: “We have several thousand employers which need to be prepared and this is a useful tool to support our auto-enrolment communications programme.

“Any employer can go to our website and use the tool. All they need to know is how many UK staff they employ and we will tell them when they need to be ready and what they need to think about.”
