The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) will come in on 1 October.
The legislation means that, after 12 weeks of employment, temporary agency workers will have the right to the same basic working and employment conditions as if they had been recruited directly by the hiring organisation.
This applies to pay, working hours, overtime, holidays, rest periods, access to vacancies and other benefits.
