Newly formed non-profit organisation the Symbian Foundation has launched an online flexible benefits scheme for its employees.
The Symbian Foundation, a collaborative organisation which is committed to improving mobile device technology, has teamed up with Thomsons Online Benefits to offer the flex scheme its 80 staff.
The new scheme includes core benefits such as a pension and holiday, plus additional lifestyle perks like dental insurance and a cycle-to-work scheme.
The scheme was launched to employees using both online and offline media including a digital brochure, explaining the benefits available and how to make selections via the website. Employees can also view personalised online total reward statements.
Steve Warner, HR director at the Symbian Foundation, said: “As a young and growing business, we wanted to reward employees to the level they were accustomed and ensure they felt part of a unique culture.
“The launch of flex has been a great success, with 95% of employees enrolling in the pension scheme in the first month.”
