Scottish Life, the pensions specialist arm of the Royal London Group, has announced that Steve Bee, head of pensions strategy, will be leaving on 20 January 2010.
Bee has been with Scottish Life for more than 12 years. He said: “I’m going to be pretty busy over the next few weeks, completing my commitments here and also saying my farewells to colleagues. I’ll be wishing them every success for the future and I’m absolutely sure that Scottish Life will continue to build on the many successes it’s achieved in recent times.”
Bee is teaming up with Paul Hogarth to launch a new business aimed at helping advisers make the most of current and future pension legislation.
Based in London, the yet to be named business will form part of the Paradigm Group of companies set up by Hogarth in 2007 and is looking at a Q2 2010 launch.
