Stephen Moir has left Cambridgeshire County Council, where he was corporate director of people, policy and law for the past two years.
Moir took voluntary redundancy following implementation of the council’s shared service arrangement with Northamptonshire County Council.
His previous roles include head of human resources at South Tyneside Council, human resources manager at Lancashire Constabulary, and personnel officer at Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
Moir said: “I am considering a range of opportunities, with a preference to remain in the public sector, and will continue my non-executive roles with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, National Policing Improvement Agency, Involvement and Participation Association, and the Public Sector People Managers’ Association.”
