?Serco Group has launched an online voluntary benefits programme called Serco Discounts for its 35,000 UK employees.

The scheme, provided by LogBuy, offers discounts at more than 500 retailers, as well as deals on theatre and cultural events. It also includes monthly competitions and invites employees to suggest new suppliers for the plan.

Serco began rolling the scheme out across its divisions in March. All staff received a welcome pack which included a discount card to use to log into the site and to show to obtain in-store discounts.

The launch was supported by a poster and email campaign, plus articles on Serco’s intranet site and in its employee magazine. Ongoing communications include email alerts, posters and flyers.

Brooke Eagle, reward and employee relations analyst at Serco Group, said: “Serco’s success is a reflection of our people and that is why we are continually developing our reward agenda to recognise all our employees who work hard bringing service to life.

“The focus of our voluntary benefits suite is helping staff do more with their money. Serco Discounts gives them the opportunity to save on everything from holidays and electrical items to days out and groceries.”
