Scottish Life has changed its investment strategy for the Scottish Life Europe Specialist Pension Fund as part of its commitment to provide effective governance.
The underlying investment of the provider's pension will now be based on Neptune European Opportunities Fund instead of Artemis European Growth.
Lorna Blyth, investment marketing manager at Scottish Life, said: "[Neptune European Opportunities Fund] has a long track record of strong performance. We believe the manager's style and process is better suited to deliver consistent performance in different market conditions.
"Effective governance is now rightly at the heart of the [Pension Regulator's] agenda for the financial services industry. At Scottish Life, it lies at the heart of our investment proposition and our governance framework is designed to ensure our policyholders long-term savings' aims will be met in an appropriate manner and reviewed regularly."
