Sage has launched an online flexible benefits scheme for its UK staff, and introduced pensions salary sacrifice for its group personal pension.

The business software firm has used the employer national insurance savings gained from the pensions salary sacrifice to fund a health cash plan for its 2,200 staff. Some 98% of employees took up pensions salary sacrifice.
The new scheme, Sage Select, includes core benefits, such as pension and holiday, as well as other perks for staff to choose.

The flex scheme, provided by Thomsons Online Benefits, has achieved a 98% log-in rate, with 96% of staff joining the healthcare cash plan and 25% buying extra holiday.
