When starting a new job, it is always nice for employees to find out where they are going to be sitting, who they will be working with and what benefits their new employer offers.
One new staff member at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan, however, didn’t even need to walk through the door to start receiving her benefits.
When physician assistant Ashley Wharton arrived for her first day of work, she was met at the front door by a red carpet, her new colleagues and a cake to celebrate her appointment as the 1000th employee at the hospital.
Cake is always an appreciated benefit at Employee Benefits, that’s for sure.
