Celtic Football Club has launched a new healthcare cash plan and rebranded its voluntary benefits scheme to aid staff retention.
The perks, which are available online via the football club’s new benefits website, include discounts on products such as computers, hire cars and dry-cleaning services. The scheme is available to the organisation’s 500 permanent staff as well as its 2,000 part-time employees, including match day-only workers.
Alexandra Thomas, HR adviser said: “When choosing these benefits, we asked, how can we make things as convenient as possible and take the pressure out of people’s lives?”
The benefits have been communicated using team meetings, emails, pre-match briefings, and supervisors and line managers. Celtic FC has also opened its community study centre for staff to provide them with computer access to visit the site.
