Take part in our latest readers’ poll on a current topical issue. Last November, Employee Benefits reported that Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt announced plans to offer a pension pot for life in the Autumn Statement 2023.

Employees will have a legal right to require a new employer to pay pension contributions into their existing pot and would also be able to choose their own pension scheme for automatic-enrolment.

In light of this, do you think the pots-for-life plan will increase employees’ engagement with their pensions?
