Paycare appoints new chief executive

Paycare, the Wolverhampton-based healthcare organisation, has appointed Gail Maltby as chief executive.

Maltby, who takes up her new role on 1 July, is currently operations director of Paycare and succeeds Liz Price who is moving to live in Scotland following her recent resignation in November 2008.

Before joining Paycare in September 2007, Maltby was head of finance at Freshway Foods in Wolverhampton.She has enjoyed a varied career with several finance-related roles in industry and commerce.

Paycare chairman, Dennis Whitmore said: “While we are all sad to see Liz move, we know that Gail will continue to drive our business forward with vision and great strategic skill. Gail has invaluable experience and has been working closely with Liz during the last few months to ensure a smooth transition.”
