EXCLUSIVE: Nomura has outsourced its corporate health function to consolidate its healthcare benefits under one provider.

The investment bank offers its UK employees access to an on-site GP, nurse, physiotherapist, osteopath and occupational health programme, as well as off-site health screening.

Previously, the services were handled in-house and through a number of third-party providers, but a decision was taken to bring the health function under one provider, Nuffield Health.

Marianne Nugent, benefits manager at Nomura, said: “Using a single provider will improve efficiency, allow us to expand the health offering and manage costs.”

The outsourcing of services has been phased-in over the past two months.
