Standard Chartered Bank have launched 'Nett Gain', a salary sacrifice scheme, in an attempt to make benefits more relevant to their employees' needs. Nett Gain was introduced to staff in November and it includes tax-free childcare vouchers and the home computing initiative (HCI). David Curtis, group head of pensions and benefits at Standard Chartered Bank, claims the changes are a result of a "better understanding of what employees need". The 1,200 UK-based employees, are already offered benefits such as private medical insurance and share schemes.
