Network Rail has switched providers for its voluntary benefits programme.

From August 2013, the railway organisation will offer its 35,000 UK employees access to an online voluntary benefits platform, provided by Personal Group, which includes access to more than 8,000 retail discounts and shopping vouchers.

The majority (23,000) of Network Rail’s UK staff are not office-based, so the launch will also include a new hard-copy benefits booklet.

The programme will also be communicated via face-to-face presentations with staff.

Mark Scanlon, chief executive at Personal Group, said: “The scheme will enable Personal Group to work to ensure that Network Rail employees are engaged.

“The programme will use our iPad application, in collaboration with our established method of face-to-face meetings.”
