Something for the weekend…
Few employees would return the benefits given to them by their employer.
However, this is not case for Nepal’s 75-year-old prime minister, Sushil Koirala (pictured) who does not appear to need any motivational perks when leading his country.
Last month, he gave back $650 he had received as an allowance for going to Burma to take part in a regional summit meeting.
Koirala is thought to qualify as one of the world’s poorest heads of government, declaring just three mobile phones as his only assets.
Perhaps he wouldn’t be quite so quick to hand back benefits available through a mobile phone scheme.
Or maybe online discount portals and retail vouchers could help him to save on his next handset.
