Loyalty Management Group (LMG) offered employees a range of wellbeing perks during a health week held between 6-10 November.

The organisation, which runs the Nectar reward programme, used the event to offer benefits such as employee health checks, pilates taster sessions and 15 minute-long subsidised massages.

Gabrielle de Wardener, HR director, said: "The starting point was thinking about flu jabs and we thought what other things we could do [around] health that would be of practical help to [staff] without spending a lot of money."

During the week, it also provided free flu jabs and free fruit. Neal's Yard Remedies, meanwhile, ran a discount evening at its London Covent Garden store for LMG's 170 employees, while Holmes Place also provided free mini-manicures for staff.

The company is now considering an environmental week for 2007 and plans to repeat its health week.

From January 2007, it will also add a dental plan and pet insurance to its flexible benefits scheme.
