Yorkshire Ambulance Service has appointed Stephen Moir executive director of workforce and strategy.
The new role’s functions include HR, workplace education, learning and development, and equality and diversity.
Moir took voluntary redundancy in April from Cambridgeshire County Council, where he was corporate director of people, policy and law.
His previous posts include head of human resources at South Tyneside Council, human resources manager at Lancashire Constabulary, and personnel officer at Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
