Retailer Midcounties Co-operative Society has launched a voluntary benefits plan, including healthcare and green perks.
Discounts on food intolerance tests, health screening, personal accident plans and an insurance product for cancer treatment are among the new health perks, while other benefits include incentives to take up green energy with Npower and at bike store Halfords.
Staff can also claim discounts on eye examinations and on frames and lenses. VDU users will continue to receive a free eye test.
The society has launched a booklet and website with AIG and Team Reward to explain the new benefits to its 6,500 staff.
Jacqui King, compensation and benefits adviser, said: "We are helping employee choice, by offering discounted benefits they can take advantage of."
