Benefits consultant Mercer and insurance specialist Marsh have joined forces to create a brand for markets outside the United States: Mercer Marsh Benefits.

The brand has been created to address the growth of employee benefits costs around the world.

“Mercer Marsh Benefits provides clients with a single source for managing the costs, people risks and complexities of their employee health and benefits programmes,” explained David Rahill, president of Mercer’s Employee Health and Benefits business.

Greg Arms, Marsh's global leader of employee health and benefits, said that controlling healthcare costs is one of the biggest challenges facing employers.

Mercer and Marsh have clients in more than 150 countries worldwide. The two companies place more than $40 billion in equivalent benefits premiums annually.
