Employers which provide healthcare benefits for staff are rewarded with more productivity, better loyalty and lower absence rates, according to a survey of more than 1,000 people. The Standard Life Healthcare Annual attitudes to healthcare survey found that 70% of respondents said productivity would be boosted, 68% that staff loyalty would be increased and 69% that the number of days off sick would be reduced. Asked to consider the cost of private medical insurance, 30% said organisations should pay £30 a month per employee, while another 30% believe employers should pay £50.
