Magnolia appoints HamishWilson as pension scheme actuary

Magnolia has appointed HamishWilson as actuary to its group pension plan.

The pensions advisor will be acting for Pension Professionals, the trustees to the £1.6 million scheme.

Christine Brightwell, trustee at Pension Professionals, said: “We have worked with the team at HamishWilson before and know that they bring a high level of expertise and experience.

“Key for this scheme was a provider that could take a pragmatic approach, find innovative ways of dealing with difficult issues and assist us to protect the interests of the scheme members. We needed someone that would roll their sleeves up straight away and bring some in-depth knowledge of wider pensions issues.”
