Linda Holbeche to leave the Work Foundation for CIPD

Linda Holbeche is to join the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as research and policy director in June.

She will move from the Work Foundation, where she has been director of leadership and consultancy for the past 18 months. She previously spent 12 years as director of research and strategy at Roffey Park Institute.

Her new role will involve leading the CIPD's extensive management research programme and the translation of that knowledge into practice for the benefit of all those involved in the management and development of people.

She said: "I relish the opportunity to work with the CIPD team and the Institute's 127,000 members to translate knowledge into practice."
