King Sturge has launched health-related benefits following a request from its corporate social responsibility (CSR) committee to further improve employee health.
These include a cycle-to-work scheme and a free electrocardiogram (ECG) scan to assess the health of employees' hearts. The latter will be offered on-site throughout April.
Karen Clark, senior HR officer in compensation and benefits at the property consultancy, said: "We have got into CSR here and we have a committee that pushes different ideas through. They suggested [this move] so we went with them, and it is good that we are seen to be doing our bit."
The organisation is planning to further enhance its healthy-living stance by introducing regular fresh fruit deliveries for its 1,400 staff from next month.
