KFC UK is launching total reward statements in a bid to improve benefits communication for staff.

The statements, which will be provided in-house, will be sent out to staff in July to outline the value of their benefits, including pension, private medical insurance and employee discount programmes.

It is hoped the statements will generate discussion around benefits and prompt employees to provide feedback on their reward package.

Misty Reich, vice-president HR at KFC UK, said: “One of the things we are not good at, but we are going to become great at, is communication. That is our biggest Achilles heel.

"One of the things I am hoping with the total reward statements is that it will progress us from a communications standpoint – letting people know what they have got. The other thing I am hoping is that it will engage people in the discussion and start to stimulate them.”
