Law firm Keoghs has introduced a salary sacrifice arrangement for its pension scheme as a precursor to its planned flexible benefits launch.
HR director Frances Cross said that the company, which employs 400 staff in Bolton and Coventry, was keen to boost pension take-up through the online scheme.
Next month, it also plans to implement a flexible benefits plan, run by benefits provider Thomsons Online Benefits, that will include childcare vouchers, a home computing scheme, private medical insurance, critical illness and income protection.
But Cross added that it has put off including holiday trading. "Holidays we were a bit nervous on. We were going to do three days either way but we felt we didn't have enough information to make that decision. We're going to pilot this in our Coventry office to see if there is an impact on the business."
