Kellogg’s

Food manufacturing organisation Kellogg’s is running a summer hours scheme for its 420 Manchester-based staff.

The scheme, which is now in its 15th year, will enable all 420 employees based at its MediaCityUK office to finish work from 12pm on Fridays, provided they have already completed a full weeks’ working hours. The summer hours scheme will launch this Friday (4 May 2018) and will run between May and September.

The summer hours scheme is designed to boost productivity and give employees greater flexibility to enjoy long weekends, pursue hobbies and spend extra time with friends and family.

Sue Platt, UK HR director at Kellogg’s, said: “Flexible working is something we take very seriously at Kellogg’s and we encourage all our UK office-based employees to make the most of the summer hours scheme.

“Research shows people who feel they have a good work-life balance work 21% harder than those who don’t; summer hours is part of a package we offer to ensure we provide work-life balance opportunities to all employees.”
