ISO 22301 accreditation

The accreditation provides Johnson Fleming with an internationally recognised business continuity certification, which shows that as a business it plans, establishes, implements, operates, monitors, reviews, maintains and continually improves its documented management system to protect and reduce disruptive incidents when they arise.

ISO published the international standard to address business continuity management and to help ensure organisations in both the public and private sectors are more resilient. ISO 22301 is part of a series of standards developed by the ISO technical committee and is the first standard published that is aligned with the new ISO format for writing management systems standards.

Tom Claridge, director of IT and systems at Johnson Fleming, said: ‘Incidents can disrupt an organisation at any time; applying ISO 22301 throughout Johnson Fleming ensures that as a business we can quickly respond and continue with our daily proceedings.’

He added: ‘The accreditation helps us demonstrate to our clients, prospective customers and regulating bodies that we are adhering to good practice in our business continuity management systems. It reflects our focus on providing world-class customer service to our clients and making sure we are always there for them, whenever they need us.’
